Many sports and wellness apps use your personal data as a revenue model. They collect too much data, share it with third parties, and leave you without control. Olympic speed skating champion Bart Veldkamp therefore created MiValta: an app that enhances your athletic performance without compromising your privacy.
MiValta securely stores your data in a personal data vault. You decide which apps get access and you can see what data they use. No hidden business models, no surprises. You are in control.
MiValta introduces Josi, a smart AI coach. Josi analyzes your health data during exercise and creates an ideal training schedule. This way, MiValta helps you achieve your goals with guidance that adapts to your level, performance, and ambitions, without compromising privacy.
To translate the vision into a product, Bart Okapion was asked to contribute ideas. During a design sprint, we unraveled the core problem, reviewed the concept, and set a direction for a user-friendly, secure, and transparent app. Ben van den Burg joined the project with his expertise in sports, technology, and innovation.
MiValta and Okapion are partners and together they are setting a new standard for privacy-friendly sports technology.
